The first year of full inclusion is in the books! At last check the sky did not fall and 100,000 new archery hunters did not destroy the resource like the little Pennsylvania resident anti-crossbow club assured us would happen. What were your thoughts & impressions? I thought there was less pressure than in the past! The PGC has not released the figures yet but I would be suprised to see a HUGE increase if any at all!

I only personally know one guy that switched from a compound to a crossbow. He only killed one doe, which is less than he usually kills.I'm happy to admit that I don't think full inclusion had any effect at all of the resource.I'm fine with it now as long as they put some sort of cap on the performance capabilities,if it starts to get out of hand.I think that should be the case with compounds as well.

Mine was a fairly good one here in Fayette County Pa.Although I didnt harvest a buck with my crossbow here this year, I saw a few bucks that I passed on. Only later to regret that move! almost scored on a huge one the second dayof the season. Never ran into another crossbow user the whole season and I spent most of my time on the Bryner/Saylor Road areaof GL51. I did score on a nice buck last Saturday by the in-laws in Northern Ohio. Cant wait until next season!
