:)Wont be long guys!! Here's mine as of today's dreamin! One day SE Hunt with my friends Berks, GBJ, Dickert, onager.. etc. on 12/28. My friend gully here invited me to join him first week of Jan but looks like work may grab me!  Jan 8th though Seasons's End 1/12/08 i will do my Annual Final Seasons Hunt out of my Sullivan County Camp. I have had pretty good success in huntin the last 3-4 days of the season but have better success yet of solving all the problems of this World & then some sittin out there likely being the only hunter in Sullivan County!! ;D Whuts ur plans for the BEST Huntin Season of the Year??? |

i'll be wit metrosean's no east flintlock hunt by him....that and being able to be out there to enjoy the outdoors after my surgery, plus my MRI i just had done in nov the doc says the litttle bit of tumor he had to leave looks small then last years MRI and don't need another MRI fer 2 years now instead of next year....i'll take that advice anyday....other words i have 3 more weeks of hunting to go, YAH..........................bob

BOB my friend----my prayers are always there. I hope your recovery is slow and steady! I found with my slow recovery, almost 4 years ago now, it sure gave me time to realize what is important in life. I also thank God everyday for allowing me one more day to be with my kids and family. No matter how much I thank God---I seem to always come up short... well now for my plans
This is my favorite of all hunting seasons---the snow today jerked me back into the reality that Im a hunter at heart...I wanted to get out today and hunt in the first snow of the season but offerered to take a friend to the car dealer to pick up his truck. Ouch that still stings after seeing deer tracks in the snow heading right to my stand. Im looking forward to our 2nd anual SE hunt and seeing the guys from last year again. I hope to sit 1 or 2 days here in my own piece of woods that Ive grown fond of hunting.

sounds good, i will be at dixons fair this year and maybe see ya if we don't meet before....i'm still planing on using my tent at the far end of the grass parking lot next to the stream at least saturday night if not both nights....i miss walking round and drooling at all the goodies at the fair since 2005 when it was my first time there.....................bob

I may just take my smoothie out for some of whatever walks my way. I can load up shot or ball for what I'm in the mood for and the weather seems best for. There's not many deer right around my area, so I may go flintin' for rabbits and squirrel.

i'd like to get in on one of the hunts in my area but the bad part is all i have is my xbow and somehow i just can't see toting an xbow while on a drive....lol that and the fact that my health was not very good, is what made me end up not going last time. hopefully one of these days i will be in the position to be able to make it on one of these hunts. it sure sounded as if it was a very enjoyable time for all that was involved  until then i will be finishing out the year in a 5A portion of Michaux state forrest with my xbow  |

are you hunting the same area as last year, correct me if i am wrong but wasn't it Adams county?
if so can anyone give me a land mark that is close to where you hunt.
like a business, street name or something i can use to do a google map search.
i know if i go over the top of the mountain (10 minutes from my house) i cross into Adams county, but i think you guys were on the other end hunting last year.

MY WIFE AND I WILL BE HUNTING AT MY PARENTS IN 3-C THIS WILL BE HER FIRST MUZZELLOADER HUNT!I'M LET IN HER USE MY TC FIRESTORM 50 CAL.I KNOW THERES STILL A BIG BUCK IN THE AREA!SEEN HIM YESTERDAY GOING TO GET ARE CHRISTMAS TREE!I COUNTED 10 POINTS.I HOPE SHE GETS HIM |
