Never hunted it for Big Game, they were in DMAP last year(I missed getting a coupon by 1 day ). I hunt it mostly for ducks and geese, usually a good sized resident flock of canadas there every year. I haven't been down that way yet this year though.

Good state parks for bear in the northeast are Tobyhanna and Gouldsboro. Lot of rough territory there in both and they are close to one another. Both also have good fishing lakes. One of my cousins scores there every year on some good size deer and also spends some time fishing in both lakes. 40 years since I have hunted or fished in the area but reports from relatives are good. Have camped at Lackawanna & Locust Lake State Parks and have had good results with the fishing there.. Locust Lake is reportedly good for hard water season. Give them a try! Skip

Cant say its a bear infested area but i have seen video of a bear swimming across the lake. it was pretty cool. i could just imagine being out there striper fishing in the dark on the flats and a bear jumping in the boat lol

I have pictures of a nice boar, a mom and three cubs from that area. I'd post them here if I knew how? The pics were taken earlier this month.

You have to have the pics on a hosting site first..... www.hunt101.com or www.photobucket.com are 2 easy ones. They walk you through uploading onto them, then all you do is copy the img code of the pic, come back to the site, click the small square above that looks liks a postcard, paste the link and walla!! Pic is posted.......if you cannot figure it out, e-mail it to me & I'll post it for you.....by the way, welcome to PAO!!

this area gets lots of pressure with all the open land. but lots of land to roam with lots of cover. for bear you want to go to Indiana co or Forest county.
