I've seen several deer up close that have been killed with them. They do leave a big ENTRANCE WOUND.The ones I saw did not exit and the broadhead was unusable a second time.To me,that's two strikes against them, not to mention the price.I'll keep using and reusing the same slick tricks I've been using since 2002.I've killed multiple deer with the same head.In fact,laST YEAR i KILLED 4 DOE AND ONE BUCK WITH THE SAME HEAD AND BLADES.The year before,I killed 3 doe a buck and a gobbler with the same head and arrow, although I did replace the blades once.Oh yeah, all but one deer that I've killed dropped within sight.
I got no issues with rage heads.Put them in the lungs and I have no doubt that you'll have a load of venison laying close to your tree.I just see no reason to throw and expensive axe through a deer.

Does any one else not like the Rage's new ad campaign (expand your kill zone) to me that implies your shot has to be less than perfect

not a good line to use in an add. no matter what you shoot you still have to hit the zone. 38.00 dollars is to expensive for a set of broadheads?

They do have good reveiws and it sounds like they do a heak of a job. I use grim reapers and they also do a great job. Like doug said no matter what head you use put it threw the boiler room and you got a meal to eat that night. Good luck!

The advertisements are pretty disturbing. They actually portray the exact opposite message of shot placement. If you've ever noticed it's the same bunch of "professionals"pushing products with ridiculous claims.Look at the commercials for the block.I have one and it's a good target but I'd never in a million years endorse it's use for broadheads.
Like I stated earlier,I have nothing against the rage heads. However,I sure wouldn't pay over a 13 bucks a piece for them and I wouldn't expect to kill any more deer with them.Marketing has taken over the oudoor industry in a very negative way.

I'd just keep using the G5's longbeard. If you have confidence in them, stick with em.I'm a huge fan of slick tricks and really can't see myself changing in the near future. If you ever want to try one,let me know.I have a bunch of used ones that I use for practice.

Well I have no problem with any of the broadheads mentioned, but I'll stick with my Muzzy's. I've never lost a deer and out of all the deer I've shot. Only 2 went further than 30 yards. It's all in the shot placement. Years ago when the Thunderheads were the top dog on the market. I never lost a deer using those. And if I didn't shoot for Muzzy I'd shoot the Thunderheads in a seconds. I still have plenty of them In my arsenal.
