Last year, pretty late in phez season,(Feb I believe) some good numbers of them were moving through Segall Swamp area. I saw several large flocks. Can't help with hunting them though as I never have. I do know a couple guys who do & if there is little to no snow on the ground, they use Texas rag decoys (easy & cheap decoys) and seem to do well. They hunt farther South of here mostly.

If you want to hunt snows in any numbers you have to head out to the southeast part of the state. I have only seen 2 flocks in the S.W. part of the state ever. It is too far to travel for a chance at 1 or 2 birds. I have friends that tried 3 years in a row and did not get any. smart birds.

I've done well hunting the snows in Pa,I've hunted Nj in the past, but i've done better here in Pa...and i'll continue to hunt them here in Pa...even though a nice trip to the salt marshes are always great...!!! Thunderbolt125
