Well I went kayaking for the first time this weekend when I was camping with my girlfriend up in Tioga cty.
Started out goin fishing on Hammond Lake (i think that's where we were). Fished and paddled for about 1-2hrs. Had decent fishing too. pulled in lots of bluegills in the short time of fishing.
Then on monday, we decided to head to Pine Creek and paddle the gorge. It didnt start off the greatest for everyone because my girlfriend flipped the kayak 5 feet off the bank and then decided she was just gonna stick with the canoe the whole time. But we left from Ansonia around 11 and got down to Black Well around 5 or 5:30. did that on only 2hrs experience on a calm lake and didnt bail at all
now the plan is to try and get Cortney back in a kayak sometime this summer! ;D

He lives right up the road from where Marsh and Pine meet. Glad you here to love 'yakking. Paddlin' the gorge is quite fun. PM me when your 'yakking again. I'm weight anchor on the USS Carrot Top and take you on Hammond to places where the big fish lurk.
