In herald standard today it was announced in the outdoor section that there is to be a carp fishing contest held September 25 at Dunlap lake. Proceeds from the contest will go towards stocking trophy trout in the lake.
Entry Fee for the contest is $20. And prizes paid out will be $100 and up according to the article.
Anyone wishing to enter can pre-register most mornings & late afternoons at Cap'n Als bait shop at the lake.

lol...missed this showed up there today to bass fish...did catch a few nice bass...and landed one big carp on my fly rod with a wholly bugger....the bass were hitting as soon as our lures hit the water we actualy started reeling before they hit because they were nailing them better that way....
anyone got the results...uniontown area has a few real good carp fisherman one is like a national champ or something he fished 48 hours strait and caught near 100lb of carp....
seen some good carp setups on the banks....
