Maggie tore her ACL this late goose season and had to have a operation in Jan 2011....we had it done and she's doing well...she just had the stitches taken out and we've been walking regulary...and she's slowly walking down stairs...the Dr said to take it easy and rehab her, so we're shooting for May 2011 for her to be back and hopefully hunting next season...She'll miss all snow goose season which suxs, but what can i do...it won't be the same with her not next to my side...and i know she'll be mad when i leave...I'm just hopeing for the best...and boy she hated that cone around her neck....anyways she's doing well and healing..Thunderbolt

Well Maggie's been great after a year with the operation...she's back to 100% and has done quite a few retrieves this season...she's now hunting snowgeese with me in Pa and doing great...everything was a sucess and we worked hard with her to get her to this point....we do limit her retrieves in the cold water but it's hard to keep her out of it when the snows hit the water....!!Thunderbolt
