That's really scary.Last year my wifes brother had a massive heart attack at age 42,losing 65% of his heart. He was active, didn't smoke, ate good and was a healthy weight. He looks good now but only having 35% of your heart can't be a good thing. One of my lifting partners went in for rotator cuff surgey last year and the nerve blocker did something to his diaphram. He ended up losing 70% of his lung capacity. He's permanently disabled now and will never be able to hunt, lift or work like he once did.Life can be fragile.Sometimes we need to just sit back ond reflect on the simple things that are most important.I sincerely wish you the best.

I go to my doctor every six months. Get blood work done once a year. Better to catch things early. Also, don't forget about a colonoscopy for us older guys. It might have saved my life. I'll know for sure in late August.

I try to eat good, get plenty or exercise and don't have many had habits .I never go to the doctor though unless I need one, which is rare.In fact,I don't even have an actual family doctor.I get a physical every couple years, usually due to changing insurance. That's not smart however.I've seen enough people my age or a little older than me have some real problems that could have been prevented.

EVEN IF YOU FEEL GOOD, GO SEE YOUR DR. OR A DR. AT LEAST EVERY 6MONTHS. I AM THE PRIME EXAMPLE. THE LAST TIME I HAD A HEART ATTACK WHICH WAS JULY 25 OF THIS YEAR ( MY 6TH ONE ) I WENT TO THE HOSPITAL WHICH GUT PAIN YOU KNOW JUST FELT CRAPPY. I HAD MY ATTACK IN THE EMERGENCY ROOM. SO JUST SUCK UP THE CO-PAY IF YOU HAVE IT AND TAKE CARE OF YOUR SELF. REMEMBER THEIR IS ONLY ONE OF YOU.....I AM GOING TO TRY AND HUNT THIS SEASON I AM TIRED OF SITTING AROUND. IF I'M GONNA DIE LET IT BE IN THE WOOD'S.....
OH YEAH I SHOULD TELL EVERYONE HERE, I HAVE HAD 11 CARDIAC CATHS, 10 ANGIOPLASTY'S, 9 STENT'S, 6 HEARTATTACKS, 6-WAY HEART BY-PASS SURGERY, 14 DISK'S FUSED IN THE CERVICAL,THORASTIC,AND LUMBAR OF MY BACK, DIABETES, 2- MINI STROKES AND ACUTE PANCREATIS IN THE LAST 10 YEARS. I NEVER WENT TO THE DR'S, I GUESS THIS IS WHAT CAN HAPPEN IF YOU DONT GET CHECK UP'S
