I shoot a custom built 270 for deer, and load my bullet, the best load i found using Winchester brass, is 54 1/2 gr of IMR 4350, cci primers and 130 gr. sierra spitzer bullets.

I reload but havent harvested for awhile especially after finding a good load maybe this yr. I like reloading that 4350 powder covers a wide range for making bullets.

Yepper...if you could only have one powder you'd be hard pressed to beat 4350...only thing I've found is that the H version gives me somewhat better accuracy and the remington 9 1/2 primer works better in super cold weather... other than that, great combo...
