i recently strung up an old 25# bow i had around, bow is +30 yrs old, am now looking for arrows for it, will only purchase arrows made in US, first question does that only leave me easton and breman to choose from?
not many make arrows for light 25# bows. i see alot listed as youth/target/practice arrows, are just about all arrows for 25# listed as youth/target/practice arrows, i plan on hunting small game with this bow, should i hunt small game with the fixed tip practice arrows?
i did try shooting my compound bow arrows, but with the heavy weight they arched and dropped quickly, didnt seem to fly straight,
also any good shops in the carbon/monroe cty area?

one thing unless the bow is at least 35lbs it won't be legal to hunt with.

After checking and rechecking the regs. And emailing pgc for confirmation they confirmed, there is. Minimum for small game. If anyone has quote or links for regs confirming min poundage for small game would appreciate it. I know from experience can ask 3 game officials dame question can get 3 different answers. But on min poundage for small game I did look deeply and looks like no min for small game

Ok I thought you were going deer hunting. I never checked into small game regs. I would triple check with local GC officers. They will be the ones who get ya:-) I did that check with GC of if you can hunt through gun season with a bow. I got stopped by an GC Officer who said I couldn't. I had the name of the person who I spoke with who said I could, and because I was a police officer at the time he let me go. I don't think they really train their officers in their own laws.

I don't think they really train their officers in their own laws. the regs on it arent very clear, they list min poundage, for deer and elk, that is clear, and i do have my 60-#70# compound bow for that but dont list anything for small game section, the fact that regs does not specifically state no min poundage in small game section does leave it open to interpertation. and you are right with its all up to the specific officer that stops/checks you, i did look into this with PGC, couple had no idea, 1 person did email me back stating no min poundage for small game. and would much rather take this 25# bow out in the field for squirrels/rabbit/ possibly for grouse/pheasant, 60# compound is heavy, slow, and overkill for such.
