Return of Crosby tonight. And he showed why he is the best in the world. 2 goals. 2 assists. Nice backhand goals with some nice moves. The penguins are now a force to reckon with in the league once again.

sid sure looked good but i think his ice time will be some what limited (around 15 min a game) and he will be a key on the pp at least for a little while. hopefully he will be able to stay healthy. the rest of the team needs to protect him like mario was protected.

Well, after his first game or two it was down hill from there. Only got 2 goals in his 8 games and now out again for long term. Penns havent been able to beat the better teams and have only, i think it is, one win against a top notch opponent. Would like to see him back, but last I heard even after all this time, he still wasnt even skating again yet, let alone practice, getting into game ready shape, or cleared for contact. Would hate to see a player of his calibre and age retire due to something like this. But it isnt looking good right now, with his quick relapse even after being out nearly a year.

Yeah, just heard. Interesting find. Fractured neck vertebrae which they didnt diagnose previously. Said its pretty much healed over at this point, hopefully wont be complications, hes been skating again, hopefully the lingering symptoms are ending. They stated more would probably be made known within a week.

i think the fracture was there all along and i cant see how it was missed by the doctors inthe first place. maybe thats why he has had so many problems with his recovery. he had a broken neck.
