Not gonna lie - never been ice fishing but my buddy is determined to get us on the ice this year. Is there any MUST HAVE gear we need? I ask because these guys are having an ice fishing sale and was wondering if I should pick up something cheap(er). www.sportsmansguide.com/net/section/sl.aspx?s=%205889&rp=sectionI'm thinking a drill is a luxury but what else? Thanks.

I tried it last year for the first time. Only went out about four times. My friend has everything I need. If we get any ice this year, I'll tag along a few times. If I like it, I'll buy some equipment. I feel the must have item is a very good locator. Every time I went, it seems we out fished everyone on the lake. And it was because of my friend's fish locator. I'll try to find out what make and model it is and let you know.
