I was just going through some old catalogues and noticed that Union Metallic Cartridge Company listed their percussion caps as "Central Fire" (Primers for cartridges were listed elsewhere under Primers) I also came across the fact that in the 1880's Winchester Repeating Arms Company sold percussion caps and right on the tin described them as "Center Fire" There is no definition of center fire in the game statutes or regulations. If Winchester and UMC/Remington said the percussion caps are "center fire" how can the PGC argue with that?
