Nothing like hunting with a nice double and I did for years and I have a few here but a few years ago the wife bought me a Ruger Woodside and i've been in love with an O/U ever since think of her everytime I shoot it.. (Nice too handle) ;D MM

Squirrels and rabbits, I use a Browning .410 pump. Pheasants and grouse, a 12GA side by side.

all i ever used was a single shot 12GA. and i always killed more then my share of small game...WITHIN LEGAL GAME LAWS...of course ;D
i honestly never saw the a need to be fancy when what i had got the job done, i suppose its more of a matter of what you like and can afford.

I enjoy hunting with a semi at times but for general small game hunting nothing beats my 20 ga. s x s. It's light and even manages to hit some of the critters I blaze at! ;D

I use nothing but side x sides, I have them in 12, 16 and 28 gauges. The 28 will be with me on Sept 1.

I was under the impression that a semi is only ok for birds, not for small game.

Winchester SEMI's are used for everything, Except when in the marshes then I take out the supernova, it never quits no matter what the weather or where I drop it.

Up until this year it has been a 12ga pump or single shot..... but I just got a semi 12ga that I can not wait to take out.
