I don't know if it was wild or not, Loggy. But it was sure good! The brunch consisted of scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage links, sausage patties, buiscuits an' gravy, muffins, toast, cheesy hash browns, and some fruit. Probably missed a few thing too.. ;D

WARNING TO ALL WHO ARE BOOKED ON TN FLINTLOCK HOG HUNT!!!!!I am hearing reports there is an unusally large strain of Wild Boar recently found to be roaming those Southern Hills. Be sure to pack an xtra roundball or 2!!! ;D

I have some serious range time ahead!!! I believe these Tenn. boars are breeding with the Appalachian strain of rhinos recently discovered. It seems global warming is causing an unusually lush growth of fist-sized acorns down south.

After seeing that gazillion pound porker pictured in my local Reading paper this morning, I decided to consider some firearm modifications prior to our November trip to Tennessee. I believe I can mount a Siler lock on the side of my .270, allowing about a six inch chamber for blackpowder to push a hollowpoint down the barrel. I'm still working on how to camoflage the Leupold scope from you sharp-eyed flintlockers. I don't want to be a gloom and doomer, my fellow boar hunters, but, if there are porkers like this creature running around in those southern hills, we are seriously "under-gunned"!
