I was watching and listening to the guide Saturday and the more wary the geese were the less he called . just a few clucks here and there and mostly as the geese were facing another direction.
He was able to land quite a few of them in some of the toughest conditions, and all with calls any average caller can do. I was impressed by his ability to read the birds.
