Just received a 12 gage Mossberg 835 as a gift, it has a 24" accu-mag barrel with a ulti full turkey choke in it now. What would be the best choke to hunt ducks over decoys?

I would prefer a longer gun with at most a modified choke. Remember steel patterns tighter than lead. Use the choke 1 step down from the one you would use for lead. distance you will be shooting should determine the choke.

in the mossberg 835 for waterfowl i would reccomend a modified ,improved modified or imp cylinder. all 3 work well just pattern the gun with the shells u decide to hunt with and see what works best at the range u will be shooting like u would with a turkey choke.......

I'm useing Kicks Fullchoke over the decoys and Kicks xtra fullchoke for pass shooting....also try the Blackcloud or Kents Fast steel.....good combo..i have used Briley chokes which are good also....but the Kicks pattern the best out of my SBE2 Benelli
