Dickert, you really must try to fit this hunt in. It was a blast! And, again thanks for the adult beverages you so graciously provided. Your name was hoisted SEVERAL times!
I wish the best to you and your family for health and happiness in the coming months.

Here is my first picture from the trip. The picture does not really do justice to the size of this hog. But it filled a 150qt cooler to the rim with pork and won the biggest hog powder horn at 400+ lbs. ;D

I just got bak from TN & took about a 100 lbs plus of pork down to my mom's freezer.
Berks is working on Hunt Story & i just downloaded many great pics. Both hunt story & more pics will be posted likely by tomorrow evening on a Separate Thread. ALL who were on hunt add do your thing with pics, BS etc. on that Thread! ;D
:)It was one memorable hunt with an outstanding group of sportsmen to say the least!!
Believe it or not...my 54 cal. roundball was recovered by Wyatts processing!! Even vac packed it for me!! ;D I will also electronically weigh & put up a pic of the .535 roundball launched from my Brad Emig build PA Mountain Rifle which planted that big porker in his tracks with no argument!!!!
More to come & no additional admission charge!! ;D
Some guys will be emailing me pics etc & I want to wait until I get a good gallery of this historic hunt before i post up the Thread!! ;D

Great bunch of guys loggy. Every one a true gentleman. I had a terriffic time. Thanks to all you guys for putting up with my limitiations and newb. Q's. Facinating and interesting bunch of guys with a wealth of knowlege and info. I felt like i was at an environmental center seminar with experts on history of riflery and hunting. I listened closely to Jacks semi lecture conversations on the History and guns of Pa. Facinating stuff. Thanks again to all. Awesome is overused word. Big Fun. Thanks Sean. Glad I emailed you to say wass up! I broke the flintlock code with the 22 oops. .

Here's a little more information on Powderburn's huge boar. He took that boar with the lightest load used by anyone in the group: 65 grains of FFFG Goex and a .495 roundball with a .015 pre-lubed patch! The boar walked 20 yards away and fell over!
The flintlock in the photo is a lefty Yorktown by Brad Emig, one of his earlier pieces, but that thing shoots!
I was sure a proud Dad when I first saw this beast. Congratulations, Ken. By the way, I'm the old guy in the group photo above with the white beard. You can see where Ken gets his good looks!
