That picture has been circulating on the internet for a few years now. He is actually a trapper and a fur buyer. He is holding the gun to give the appearance that he hunted all of those yotes.

Here in PA I've only shot 1 yote so far. Got him in August of 2005 while groundhog hunting the neighbors farm.
Drilled him through the chest at 400 yds with the Ruger M77 in 22-250. Entrance hole no exit hole. Had a nice pelt for an August yote.
I have killed probably 50 or 60 yotes in California, while actually hunting them. They are much smaller and skinnier than our yotes here in PA. Largest one I shot in Cali was 35 lbs.
My yote from 2005 weighed 55 lbs.
My butchers son trapped a 57 lber last year near Chambersville

Very true loggy. I feel like PA's population of coyotes is very thin. Does anyone agree? Or do you think the difficulty in hunting PA yotes in their higher intelligence than the western yotes?

fingerz42, i have only met one yote that was dumber than me. ;D
Likely if the yote wouldnt of been in hot pursuit & ready to bring down a lil button buck he likely would of outsmarted me too!
I see tons of tracks & hear them at nite. I never went all out & hunted them though.
