The governor is fighting for us sez he will increase taxes on the oil companies. Guess where that additional cost to them will go?

fuel is on the rise because the price of crude is on the rise, it's not rocket science. If you notice it topped out on monday around $60/bbl. Since then it has dropped approx. $2.00/, and will probably settle back down towards the low $50's. We don't want it to go much lower to soon because OPEC is meeting next week. Tentatively, OPEC is not planning on cutting back production, but if the price does drop to low, expect them to throttle back the valves to get the price back up in the $50 range.
feel free to start drilling your own wells, it's cheap. it the cost doesn't scare you, dealing with the EPA will, and good luck on buying a refinery..........cause we aren't allowed to build anymore of them...........and don't forget to give the gov't the first .60 cents for the wonderful job they do.
$1.89/gallon gas is cheap,......burn it up.

The latest excuse for rising prices is "At this time of year the refineries are switching from winter gas to summer gas which creates a shortage"
