I've been doing them for a few years now. They are great and there are so many variations of flavor. Never had a bad one yet ! ;D Go for it !

Guys, I have one and the chicken is FANTASTIC. You don't have to spend a lot though. Wally World has them for $2.95 for a single

I got one as a Christmas gift a couple of years ago, and I agree with the users above. I use those Perdue ovenstuffer roasters, and I do it on my Weber charcoal grill with indirect heat. The chicken comes out moist, tender, and falling off the bone!
I'm not a big micro-brewery fan so I've been using samplers I got as gifts. I found an India pale, honey flavored, lotus blossom, nearly premium micro, combined perfectly with a chunky, drug-enhanced Purdue specimen, but that's just my opinion.

OK, so I did the can chicken thing but minus the beer.....my kid was watching me cook & he thinks beer is nasty - you know how kids are, you can put onions in something w/o them seeing & they'll eat it, but if they see you put them in.........I suppose a 15 yr old thinking beer is gross isn't a bad thing! Soooo, I used some italian dressing mixed with teriyaki sauce, seasoned the chicken some with montreal, it was awesome!! Really moist & flavorful yet crispy on the outside, about the best I ever had off the grill....next time I may try the pepsi/bbq sauce recipe.

Came out great!!! Rubbed inside & outside of 4 lb Purdue Roaster with McCormick Rotisserie Seasoning & a lil black pepper. Used 100% real Beer....Budweiser that is. Added one tablespoon Worcestershire to the bud. Cooked 2 hours indirect (low heat). Stuffed a small pealed onion in the neck cavity. No pics of end product since it was dark when done plus i wasn't shooting too straight nurturing the back-up beer! ;D Under Cover! ;D

Loggy, that is one fine, one-legged chicken! Wait, I think I see it tucked under for support. I hope that is a brand new grill because if it isn't, someone is spending way too much time cleaning it! That makes my poor ole Weber charcoal grill look homeless! Next time try a fine Pottsville Yuengling lager, it seems to stimulate an oven-stuffer roaster to an all new level!
