ok i am assuming u had some made, what is an average price range for your custom rods 9'-10' Cod jiggin rods 2-4 hundred build by rod builder in Gloucser, MA. Not available in stores so impossible to compare prices. Many "custom" rods are designed for a particlar type fishing & built to meet desires of the fisherman having built. What was that st croix 80-130 you posted referring to??

Like I said...really hard to compare...just like a factory flinter vs custom. Obviously, custom is MORE though!! ;D

I have never been there myself, I got a card from him at the Antique fishin show in Mechanicsburg bout 3 wks. ago. I need to have a couple rods handles recorked(too many times pullin em outta the rod holder with BIG stripers tryin to pull the rod in the lake) he said he can do it , I use some pretty big handeled rods on my trolling set-ups (8 FT HVY ), but my downlines and pluggin/jiggin rods are a little softer (6-6 or 7FT MED. HVY).
