My camp located in Sullivan County is called Pine Run.
Named after a small spring that runs through propery plus all the white pines there.

One day I went out into an old fence row to look for a truck wheel to build a fire ring for camp. I found an old spike buck skull and took it to camp and hung it on a tree. My wife asked, "What's that thing for?" I told her that since this was my spike camp, I hung up a spike buck. It's been known as G-Daddy's Spike Camp ever since.

"6 Point". The 1st year I bought my property and hunted it,I killed my 1st archery buck,a 6pt,on my birthday. It seemed appropriate to name it that when I built the cabin the following year

Since it is my camp (and me being a chick), and it's new-- and as nice and as clean as home.... It has come to be known as the "Chick Camp".

I was invited by my son and his 10 friends. That makes a dozen good guys. They are fireman, EMT's and LEO's. One of the property owners, Charlie, a fireman, ran the hunting camp part. Cancer ripped him away from us the year prior to my first year there. He invited me that prior summer and I had prior commitments and couldn't make it. So, my first year while everyone was trying to figure where to put me, Charlies son said I should honor Charlie, and the camp, by sitting in his stand because he felt Charlie would not want it empty. So I hunt there and hope Charlie helps me out. SFSG, two years, two deer. Everyone affectionately calls the camp, "The Farm."

I call it home but it has been called "the ranch" and "the pondarosa" by my friends and family that come hunt with me. In the suburbs of Shunk in wheelerville Sullivan County.
