Woodsrat your name should be T/C NUT!! LOL I have the super 14 35 rem with the tammer. It is getting custom fit with a new tammer 2 inches longet to make it a super 16. I am putting my thumb hole stock on it topped with a 3x9 vx3 scope. This will be my new dear and bear slayer!

Woodsrat your name should be T/C NUT!! LOL Bearslayer, That is a good one Not a bad name thou! I always wanted to make a carbine with one of my frames but never did, I think that it would look cool. I did get a 16 1/2" SS .270 w/break barrel for my encore frame. Now all I need is more time! Keep me posted on your build.

Just got a super 14" 7-30 Waters, topped it with a Nikon Monarch 2.5-8x28. I've got the dies, some Sierra 120 grain, IMR4895 and will be working up some loads for next season. Hope to have some fun with it!

I got rid of the old "Cougar" for an Encore and haven't looked back! 15" .17 HMR (Dang is that thing FUN to shoot!) 10" 7mm-08 (Open sights for up close with heavy loads). 15" 7mm-08 (Longest kill shot on a nice 8 point was 197 yrds on the rangefinder). 15" .223 (Chucks, coyotes, foxes and paper). 15" .243Win. (Chucks, coyotes, deer and paper. 305 yrds on a chuck. Thing shoots dime-sized groups @100 yrds!). 10" and 12" .44 Mag (Just plain fun with a halo/red dot sights on em).. 15" .444 Marlin (For pretty much anything that's walkin around North America). I picked up my 1st frame in .444 for $425.00 with a 4 pwr. M-8 mounted cuz the guy couldn't handle it! It's still my favorite!! Shoots 300 gr. XTP handloads into a racquete ball @ 100 yrds!

No not yet. He has the old tammer cut of and the new one ready and he just got a new milling machine that he asked if I minded if he waited to finish it after he got it set up, so I told him that was fine. I must say I am getting alittle antsy now but it should be soon.
