I have heard great things about all CZ products. My friend owns a CZ .22 and absolutly loves it. How does the .204 shoot? I own a Ruger Target grey in .204. Mine shoots MOA out to 200 yards (farthest range around here). Does the CZ compair? I would really like to know. I have a few friends who want to buy a varmit/target rig to shoot with me.

I have no comment on them until I see them on the bench..I've been waiting for years for someone to show up and shoot the factory class at the various groundhog matches...still waiting, no one seems to what to show their hand in good friendly competition....I've talked to lots of people who say they love em', but haven't seen one on paper yet..

I have a cz american that shoots amazing. All I ever shot out of it was cheap federal match loads. The trigger is crappy so I have to get one of those Brooks trigger kits.Excellent gun for the money.

I own 2 CZ's & lovem!! Have a cz 452 American & off the bench...a tack driver!! A great "Unappreciated Classic" ...the CZ 452 Rimfire. The Title of a very informative article the NRA American Rifleman April 2006 issue. I bot the CZ 452 American 22 LR & what a fine gun for the price. I compared the Kimber and some other offerings coming in at 4-5 times what I paid for my CZ 452. The NRA Rifleman article covers this model in a fine fashion. The last sentence of article: "Given its quality, performance and reasonable price, it will find its way into an increasing number of American gun cabinets, which, in turn, should belatedly earn it the respect it so richly deserves." says it all per my ownership experience. I must fully agree with this statement. This gun is made of all steel & walnut...no plastics which is creeping into many guns today. A simple & robust 1.18" diameter receiver machined from a solid-steel billet, with beefy walls more than .2" thick. Bolt is a hefty .705" diameter. Mine is a tack driver & friendly to high velocity ammo. Those looking for a high quality rimfire in the 2-3 hundred range should take a look at the CZ 452 before plopping down a grand or 2 for a comparable. I did & ended up with the CZ 452 American & am one Happy Camper!!! Also have a CZ97B 45 acp...a rock solid reliable & extremely accurate gun. 100 yds w/ CCI Velocitors off the Bench (not bad)50 yds under 1/2"
