WELL....what did I miss !!!! The first 9 were classics that you could find in anyones gun cabinet in this state as well as most of the other 49...however I know that this is only a small small percentage of what's out there... WHAT is your favorite that I missed... HAVE AT IT MEN, it's all yours from this point...

The 30-40 Krag, Still around after 100+years.Plenty of bullet weights to choose from. And it will take any animal on this continent ,except for the largest bears. Don't you agree ?

BLACKHAWK...I'd bet alot of coastal brown bears have been killed with the ole 30-40 KRAG...one good hit and they'd be just as dead as hit with anything else..HECK,...the eskimo's killed polar bears with .22 LR's !!! There's not that much difference between it and the ole' 06 overall...

The old 30-40 Krag ,just isn't BIG Bear Medicine,And yes I'm sure many big bears have been taken with the 30-40,and lesser calibers. But that was probably all they had to use,for whatever they were hunting. If I were hunting any member of the large bear family,I wouldn't use anything less than a 338 Winchester Mag. JMO
