I carry 2-3 of the clear cva loaders a bullet starter equal amount of clear plastic tubes that hold extra powder extra primers and extra bullets/sabot. before leaving the house If I cleaned the ML'er VG I will run a patch on a jag down the barrel shoot a primer and make sure the patch is burned I do this a couple times wait sa few seconds then load powder, sabo/bullet and off i go. after getting into the stand before first light I check the ML'er I take the ram rod and check to make sure the bullets hasn't moved off the powder I then prime the ML'er and am ready to go. As for a second shot hopefully I won't need one. I now use aSavage smokeless ML'er call me lazy but I can shoot it reload it and go hunting the next day and have no fear of corrosion. Lou

I carry a few tubes of 90 grains of 2F, some prelubed 400 grain maxiballs in a couple plastic tubes for my 54 cal flinter. Carry a ball starter. a few broken in half toothpicks to block the flash hole when needed, and a brown rag to wipe off moisture, or burn powder residue from flint & frizzen as well as to cover the flint, pan etc. if it starts to rain or spit snow. Also a small flash pan primer that hangs around my neck on a piece of string. Thats bout it. I dont carry a possibles bag, as the modest amount of stuff i carry easily fits in coat/parka large side pockets.
I carry flask of powder, extra flints, and other extras in a small plastic box in the vehicle.
