45-70 30-06 7mm-08 250 savage 22-250 444 marlin
Out of all off them the 7mm-08 is the least used..... Just don't care for it... Don't ask me why I have no reason to dislike it.... Just one of those things... You ever have two fishing poles alike? And only one gets used? ;D Then I have to say the 250 savage has become a passion with me, easy on recoil and all around nice caliber for about anything you would like to shoot from crows to deer it will handle it well. MM
Ps I forgot I have the 204 Ruger and I love it.. Makes crows look like a *pillow fight* (pooof) they are gone..

223 rem. /26"hvy bbl. 25-06 rem. /24" sporter 7-08 rem. /24" sporter 308 win. /24" sporter 50 cal. ML /26" 222rem. /14" (custom shop) 44 mag /14" 45 /410 / 10" 45-70 / 16" (terrible recoil) and probably a couple i forgot about I like so many got caught up in all the hype , and ended up with a lot of bbls that i hardly ever used , so several years ago i started selling them and am now down to the 308 and the ml bbls and am going to sell the 308. The only one i miss is the 45 /410 should have kept that one , it made a great truck/atv , carry gun while walking in the woods.

THE 7mm/08 will make a fine big game cartridge in your pistol..it'll shoot flatter than most others and it's recoil is manageable for the most part...and the short barrel will burn most of the powder...if you reload, use a faster burning rate to see if you can really get the velocity up ....I had an XP-100 in that cartridge..awesome performance..if you can hit it, you'll be gutting it !!!

7-08 is a fine caliber flat shooting, it falls in line with the 308 but doesn't have as many choices of bullets as the 308. but when you talk pistol as opposed to the rifle, the longer the barrel falls into the picture. I have had very good results in my 7-08 with nosler 120 grain bullets. In my 308 I have settled on Sierra 125 grain bullets. Also another great caliber is the 7-30 Waters, I use the 120 grain noslers in that caliber also accuracy is outstanding. The 7-30 won't beat you up too much. I find the 7-08 and the 308 are not that bad either. The problem being when one has so many pistols the real problem is which to hunt with LOL. Lou
