I am a Leopald man by all means but I was a cabelas and picked up a 6.5x20 simmions varmit scope for a 109.00 bucks. For the money it is a very nice scope and clear . I put it on my 223. What do you guys think of Simmons?

i have several simmons scopes and have used them for years and have never had a problem! The pro hunter series and Aetec series are well worth the money! they might not zeiss, leupold, swarofski but they will get the job doen at a fraction of the cost! Not knocking the higher end scopes have a few mysefl but with the way times are alot more people lean to saving a few bucks i think!

I got the Pro Diamond on my turkey slayer and it hasnt let me down yet. Bought their other scopes and they were not what I thought they would be for warranty purposes. Sent 1 back and they told me they fixed it and it was worse than when I sent it in. Went to Leoupolds since then but still got the one on the gobbler gun so far.

Since all glass is ground by computers now, it's pretty hard to get a bad scope anymore... usually now a days you just have to make sure you get one that will with stand the recoil of whatever you mount it on...Mostly... Leep:
