I wear Red Wings. Higher Quality, and American Made. I work heavy construction, and I seem to get about 1 year to 1 1/2 years out of a pair.

I had a pair of wolverines, they were 800grms of thinsulate and waterproof. What a joke. I could not walk through wet grass without getting wet feet. I only wear them in the spring for turkey or when I know it will be dry.

i still love my carolina's, union made in PA That I didn't know. Steelerfan is a Sheet Metal Worker, Local 12. I will definitely check those out. Where do you find them at? I live in Kittanning. Does the Workingmans store or Millers in Butler carry them?

I bought a pair of their six inch high turkey boots last year. The tongues are so hard that they cut into my leg by the end of the day. Last year I came out of the woods bleeding. They hit the trash! Rocky, Irish Setter or Redwing are the way to go.
