Has anyone else seen this info-commercial on the Banjo Swimming Lure?
I happen to click it on because the show title said, "How to catch bigger fish".
I watched about 20 minutes of it and was amazed of this lure. I almost was convinced to purchase it. What great marketing, right? They even had Babe Winkelman as a spokesman, actual underwater footage of huge pike just smashing this lure, and footage of a demo as the Harrisburg, PA Eastern Outdoors Sportsman Show.
Anyone ever use it or purchased it? It's looks like a soft plastic bait that has ridges in it that makes it move like a wounded minnow. I'm skeptical about it though.

My Wife and I just purchased two 110 piece sets of those lures. They look rather impressive to us.
You also get a instructional DVD with the lures. Haven't had a chance to use them yet out here for Walleye. Seems to be a pretty neat fishing system with the removable/transferable eyes and hook attachment system.
You will have to use a rod that has a lot of tip action in it to make the lures work properly.

You will have to let us know how they work out Will do,Marsh. Like I said, they really look like they will do the job if properly presented. Paid $19.95 for the first set and got the second one for $14.95. You get 32 Minnows in 3 different sizes and 7 colors,4 detachable swimming eyes and 3 weighted jig eyes. Also,9 Banjo weedless hooks in 3 different sizes,60 weedguards,2 "El Sinko" hooks, plus the DVD. They are supposed to trigger a genetic response that make fish instinctively attack and eat a crippled minnow. Scott

I can't wait for you to give it a field test. Your opinion on the Banjo will be a major impact on if I purchase them. So get out and fish!
