Don't think I could ever hunt anywhere else but north of I80. I have a 2G doe tag, which I will use on private ground, and a 3A doe tag which I will also use on private ground north of Rt49. Plenty of deer in both places. Lord willing, if it's cool enough to let 'em hang for a week or so, I'll kill both during the inline season.

going to shoot the in-line Tomorrow but....if the weathers to be nice I'll be taking the flinter if lousy it'll be the in-line....then mid week I'll strictly use the in-line...i plan on having a doe down by end of early muzzle loader by bow or by either smoke pole..

Hi All, New here, but all I hunt with is my Black Diamond XR .50 cal . I have a Savage Model 10 aperture rear sight on her.I've been an exclusive muzzleloader(r) since 2003. Great challenge, lots of fun and little legislative hostility. My youngest daughter is also an exclusive muzzleloader with 2 deer to her credit. She shoots my first inline, a Traditions Tracker 209 .50 cal converted to use muskey caps, and wears a Redfield 4x Tracker scope.

I live in Va. now and the only gun I hunt with now is my Knight Disc 45 cal. inline. in 2009 I harvested 2 8 pts here in Va. 1 was 178 yds and the other was 157 yds and they both dropped in their tracks. I also hunt in Pa. the regular buck season and my Knight is always with me. Inlines are the way to go. I'm waiting for the PGC to jump onboard with the rest of the states and allow them for late season hunting.

Thats not something we need here imho. Its a single shot rifle, use it in rifle season. It also has an early season. We've had enough changes here to last us the next 100 years. Aside from "righting" some of the recent wrongs & minor tweaking here & there, i see no reason to play around with season structure every other year. All it does is constantly create infighting, and causes instability to management.
Not looking to argue the point, just giving my 2cents.

I like my inline and use it in early muzzy and reg. gun season but late season its flinter time...
