x-bowhunter - I know its a little late to reply but here it goes .
I hunted Clearfield county ( quehanna area ) with my 30-06 everyday except one , I had a Dr. appointment. I was looking for a monster buck that had everything rubbed and scrapped up . The first day I seen 2 0r 3 scrubs that wasn't legal , on the second day a little 6 point that was little walked right under my ladder stand .. I passed him up ..I was seeing plenty deer ..I know its not many (12) but anymore, 12 is alot of deer in one day . I never seen the monster I was after and didn't care either cause I had 2 tags for muzzle loader. But the licker is , I ended up in the Hospital with a bad appendix , had it removed so the season is over for me .. That little doe I shot with my x-bow is gone ..Now I have no venison in my freezer . The first time in a long time I had none ...But in all the season was good . How did you do ?
