I like to pussyfoot through the woods in search of my quarry sometimes, not marching straight to a new stand,I remember how to get to an old one yet. My question is does a GPS work when you're moving that slow? I mean making waypoints, landmarks, compass directions, paths of return, or direction to starting point? I saw a thread somewhere that you had to move at least 3mph for it to do it's thing. I can't RUN 3mph on the sidewalk let alone hunt in the woods that fast. Know what I mean? Am I stuck with just a compass? I don't mind, I just don't want to spend $ on something I can't use.
