PA... you got yourself a real big banger there... more than capable of handling the vast majority of anything that walks in North America, including GRIZZ......as you already know, all .30's shoot the same bullets, it's only a matter of velocity... to be honest you don't need to have all that power unless you sidehilling across big valleys in PA.... get yourself some 150 Nosler Partitions of some Barnes XLC's or TSX's and tone it down to about 3000 fps and you'll drop any animal that walks in PA with one shot... I use only H-4350 in all my magnums, burns much cleaner than all the slower powders, and only Remington 9 1/2 magnum primers and I load for just about everything that says the word magnum on it.... What's nice about this rifle is that you can adjust up and down to handle whatever you'd like to shoot with it..and it's all with a few grains of powder, more or less, big green is now selling that with reduced loads of various powers..you can accomplish the same thing at the reloading bench... sell everything else. you no longer need them.. one gun that can handle everything without question..great choice...at full power...you won't last long at the bench, take a sandbag to place between your shoulder and the gun, don't forget to break-in that barrel correctly from the begining..the first ten shots... clean between each of them.. it will help alot down the road....

The funny thing about big cased inefficient rifle cases is, they like to full of powder. I personally would not use any of the 4350 burn rate powders in any of them. These cartridges shine with slooooow burn rate powders. They also like to have full cases of powder. The Remington 9.5M is a good primer for them.

best bet is go to the books and check it out. try several different powders and loads to see which works best. just as with anything people have different ideas as you see above. a lot depends on what your gun likes best also. as an owner of a Remington 300 ultra mag i agree with frank about slowing it down also use a bullet that expands quickly

yea mr longbeard i have a book. but i also like to get input from other loaders . i think it saves me on powder and bullets. i have cans of powder and boxes of bullets i tried and wouldn't shoot good and i end up giving it away.so far i tried H 1000, RL25 , RL 22 now i'm gonna give 7828 a try. tried 180gr , now i'll try 150 gr. you can go thru alot of powder and bullets
