Went out today with 2 of my buddys and all the dogs (Jager, Braveheart, Rocket, and Willy). Started the day off slow but picked up. The birds were holding tight as tight could be. Ended up putting up 7 and getting 5 all in all not a bad day. Only had a shot at 6 of them. Even better all birds 5 bird taken were taken off point. Breavheart had his longest and hardest point of the year. Very Happy!!

I'll be getting out here soon, probably the weekend after xmas. Hopefully the second season will be nicer to me. Not much luck first season.

Went out for grouse this morning. We flushed seven, only got a shot at one. My son missed. They seemed to be flushing too far out in front of us. Still a good day afield.
