One day last winter while walking a pipeline,my buddy and I observed quite a few grouse walking ahead of us. They appeared to be drunk and totally oblivious to our presence.I asked several people about this and was told they actually were drunk from eating fermented grapes.
Is this true and has anyone else seen this?

I've heard of birds getting drunk from eating pokeberries & red mulberry....haven't heard of from grapes, but can't see why not when they ferment!!
Hmmmmm, maybe that's what I need to find, a drunk grouse, actually might be able to get one then!! ;D
