Had another nice day at Homestead preserve, guided a hunt today there for a real nice group, had a great time with them. Took several pics, but didn't realize the shutter wasn't opening.....(you can tell a little from the dark in the corner of pics) these are the only 2 that you could see anything, but at least they turned out!! Group had 6 phez released, got all but one, missed several, but we managed to re-find all but the one. Les, Kyle, Mike & Mac, todays guide: Mac at work:

Thanks guys!! Buck, dogs are on & ready to roll!! Mac was about picture perfect today, even with several guys shooting, missed birds & birds running badly. We had a nice point on a rooster in the sorghum, flush & miss. He relocated it in redbrush & it ran back and forth in front of him while he was on point several times before we could get it to flush. After several shots it wasn't dropped but he handled it great, never moved. Worked on, picked it back up again about 350 yds down, another solid point, bird ran again, go it flushed & bagged it this time. Hunting phez in deep snow is tough!
