How would you all rate this past years grouse season as far as flushes??
For us I'd say the same as in 06, maybe a few more flushes.

Down for me in the 3 areas I usually hunt. Was also down in 2 other areas I did not hit but have friends who did. On a side note, in my spots, I did see a big increase in fox/yote tracks, not sure how much they impact grouse, and assume fox would more so than yotes?

This past season has been one of my best years ever. I had more flushes per hour and we killed more birds this year than I think we ever have. Our cover is just now hitting it's prime and we should be good for a few more years atleast.

better than last year. I dont hunt grouse but when I walk the dogs I usually get a flush or two,but this year there seems to be a lot more birds

I saw more grouse this past year up in sullivan county then past several years.
