Well on Sat. I hooked up with a buddy of mine and a guy he knows for a Goose hunt. This was the first time I have ever goose hunted. The morning started out with alittle driving around and scouting to see how the birds where flying. We found a good fly way and by 10:30 we had our 200 decoys set and where ready in the ground blinds. There was not 5 mins the entire time we where out that we did not see birds but alot of them where high flyers with there air masks on. We had 1 set come in and land about 70 yards from us in the field . We waited for them and they started comming closer but then they took off again to our right and my bubby took one out. The rest of the day was still exiting with see birds but nothing else wanted to come in. I must say I can see how people get hooked on goose and duck hunting and I believe I am now as well. ;D

Just wait till you get on the X. Then nothing else will be worth chasing.

Well now you need a second job to pay for the decoys, blinds, boat, guns, dog, ammo, scouting gas, and cell phone bills.

Well you are right on that. Luckly my buddy and another guy that got me into it have about 6 dozen decoys so I don't need any of them but I did spend money on a blind and three calls. I just love it. I will probably like it better when I figure out how to hit something flying with my shoot gun. ;D
