I recently acquired an older model Hoyt Defiant. I believe it may be around a 1994 or so. I need the string length and cable lengths for this bow. I found info on a defiant through the Hoyt website in the year 2000. All of those ata's are around 44 1/2-44 5/8. I believe this bows ATA is 41". The cable guard is below the handle if this rings a bell. It has 16" FastElite limbs. Any info I can obtain from you knowledgeable archery techs would be appreciated. Thanks from the XMan.

Have you tried posting your question on www.archerytalk.com at all ? It gets the most traffic by far of any Archery site on the web and you may get an answer there real quickly as there are some very knowledgeable people that hang out there. Recently bearslayer had a bow for sale he posted here and he took my advice and posted it on there and sold it the same day. Might want to try it.

You the man Jeff!!! Take his advice and try archerytalk. You actually will find a few Pro's on there! I do know the bow you are talking about. A buddy that I shoot with had one and it was a nice bow. I had the Enticer at the same time and mine was 44" ATA and they where pretty simmilar bows but again try Archerytalk. Good Luck!

If that doesn't provide an answer in a few days let me know. Working in the Archery Industry I have contacts I can use to get some answers.

Thanks for the advice guys. I contacted Hoyt and they researched the bow for me. I got the info I needed. Didn't realize the bow was that old (but a good year) 1995. The only draw-back on the specs it turned out to be 60% letoff. I don't mind 65% but that's a little too much. I'll knock off some of the poundage and it should be comfortable to shoot.

Have no choice but to practice some up-coming money shoots I plan to attend. Grouping 5 shots in 3 inch groups at 50 yards. Have my Conquest IV tuned to the gills, and I'm not shooting too bad myself if I say so. Thanks for all the help fellas! Even us techs needs help every now-and-then.
