How are all you goose hunters making out. The snows are flying pretty good down here in Lancaster county but I didn't have a chance to get on them yet. Anyone out for snows yet and how did ya do?

I have never hunted for the snows. It is just too far to scout and hunt on a weekend. Plus no snow deeks.

We went to the goose blinds at Pymatuning Wednesday before Thanksgiving. We never fired a shot. It wass the least amount of geese we have ever seen there. They told us at the check in station that it has really been a slow season. I wonder why ? There seems to be no shortage of geese & there sure is plenty of food for them there.

The weather has to push new birds down to us the ones there have been educted or driven away to safer places.
P.S. My crew has a total of 46 geese this season and we have been concentrating on ducks lately.

Just got into this awsome sport last year and absalutly love it! As of now I am working on my own decoy spread and just perchaced 6 Final aproach full bodies, and 2 dozen new Green Head shells and with flocked heads. I guess my ? is. I know the more the better but on average what is a decent spread to have? Is 30 going to be a good start?
