The UglyStick was the most popular rod among anglers last year, accounting for 14.3 percent of all purchases, according to AnglerSurvey.com, an online poll of 22,486 anglers conducted by Southwick Associates.
When it came to reels, Shimano dominated, accounting for 21.9 percent of all purchases.
The top hard bait was a Rapala (21.7 percent);
the top spinnerbait a Strike King (22.4 percent);
the top fly brand was Orvis (9.8 percent);
and the top softbait a Zoom (17.9 percent).
Plano took in 44.9 percent of all tackle box sales,
while Lowrance was nearly as dominant (40.9 percent) in GPS or radio brand sales.

Great to see this list, wonder how much it has changed over the last few years, if at all, especially with the economy? Picked up these waders at the Guide www.sportsmansguide.com/net/cb/cb.aspx?a=777518 they have great prices and products are good quality. Their Guide Gear brand is nice quality and a decent price.
