Hey folks before the season opens check those treestands make sure raytchets or however your stand secures to the tree is safe. Nothing like taking a ride down a tree at 5:45 A.M. It will wreck your season. Doesnt take long to check your treestand and check your safety harness. Be safe and good luck to all that participate.

Everyone knows you need to wear a safety harness, but every year, one or two hunters fall and are killed, it doesn't make any sense to me,,,why.

I have no idea why they do this either callmaker. I personally know a friend this happened too and now hes a quadriplegic because the vest was an inconvenience what a shame.

everytime i climb a tree i wear a fall restraint belt harness its costs me a few deer but safety comes first..
