Thought id post a pic of my bait tank i made a while back. I used a 100 gallon cattle water tub, rigged together some pvc for the plumbing, used a backyard statuary pond pump, and rigged up some filter media in a large bucket for my filter. Works great. I generally keep some large bluegills, chubs or suckers etc. for catfish bait. In the pic, i didnt have bait in the tank other than some small ones i kept separate in the floating net.

Pretty slick idea. Guys at work used one of those old pop coolers but had trouble with it or the oxygen supply. Bait fish didnt last long once they were in there.

I can keep them for a long time in this thing. Months even. I keep bait in it from spring through fall, usually steady. SOme in it at all times except mid fall through winter.. I try to replenish the supply as soon as i run out, so i can have bait ready to go anytime at a moments notice.
Water level is a few inches low in the pic.
