Almost here! I'll either fish the Yough or head out and enjoy the madness at Twin Lakes. Good luck to everyone.

I almost never use live bait. Spoons are my favorite lure for trout.

so how did everyone do ?
i had a great day on the creek. i caught around 60 fish. we quit counting when i hit 40 an my dad only had 4. i used my hand tied jigs. well one in particular. a 1/32 oz that i call the "jigabugger" in olive green. its my version of a wollybugger tied on a jig. fished under a float. i tried to get dad to use it but he wanted no part of it.
used it today on mingo creek and hooked a real monster but my line broke. it was every bit of 24 inches.

I had a good day, too. Fished the river and had it mostly to myself. I invited a friend along and it was a new experience for him. He did great. We caught some trout and had a good time.

Caught some beautiful and strong brook and rainbows. Creeks were low but the dam was good. Lots of gobblers active.Gobbling long into the evening almost until complete dark. It was a great trip. Forgot my camera. I was so excited to go I forgot lots of things.
