Summer is here and the 3D Shoots has begun. The practice you get at shooting 3D animals will be the best test when hunting season comes in October. Time to work on the tune of your equipment. Even though your tune for field points will sometime be very different than your tune with broadheads. My suggestion is to tune your bow for broadheads by bare shafting through paper, or walk back tuning with bare shafts. A friend of mine Barry used to shoot his bow out to 30-35 yards with bare shafts. It used to freak me out the accuracy of his equipment. I've watched him shoot a deer and the arrow looked like a cruise missile. Take the time to tune your equipment or if you don't have the knowledge take your bow to a good archery tech such as myself, to prepare you and your equipment for your archery needs. You may need new string and cable(s) try KG's Custom Bowstrings...XMan. See you at the 3D Shoots. Be Safe!

Went out with my good buddy Xman today for my first 3d shoot. We only shot 1/2 round cause I needed to get home. I had alot of fun and kept getting tips from Xman on form and judging distance. Had a great time and will be doing this again. If anybody has any archery questions, Xman is the go to guy.
