Anyone ever use a portable blind in archery season , ? I have had this one for a year or so , and finally took it out of the box today and set it up to see what it looks like. ;D(note) just looked out and saw it rolling across the yard , guess thats what the ground stakes are for

We have that one too! and one that is taller. I shot my spring gobbler out of one this year. Never had one up for archery season, but have had them up for rifle season, can't beat them when it's raining or snowing and the wind is blowing and you want to be out and hunt. rather be in a ground blind than up in my ladder stand when the weather is bad

I use the Ameristep Outhouse blind for all of my hunting needs. I have found it a little difficult to shoot my bow in it, going to switch it out for the "Doghouse" blind this year. I usually leave them up permanantly, as I find it a pain in the azz to setup and takedown. good luck PS - If you do leave them up all year, make sure to leave the flaps open. I used to close mine up completely, until this past turkey season when I was checking my setups and happened to look up and seen a 6 inch wolf spider staring back at me , Leaving them open keeps them out as they love dark places. Keeps the yellow jackets out too(got stung by several bees who had made a nest right on the door flap)

I have the Ameristep G-30 hub style. I plan on using it this year during gun season and possibly during archery a few times.
My suggestion to everyone is make sure you practice out of one before hunting from one, for I have two bows my current one i use is shorter axle to axle and can be drawn with ease in the blind on the other hand my backup is longer and the top cam comes very close to the roof of the blind so if for some reason I need to go to the back up I know i will not be hunting from the blind.
