As a Dad with two young boys, I'm going to have a need for a treestand for two people in the not too distant future. The kicker is that it needs to be rather portable since so far, I'm only hunting public land and wouldn't want to risk it being stolen (my blood boils at the thought a hunter would steal a stand, but that's a subject for another time... ) I'm pretty sure I've seen a picture somewhere recently where the hunters sat in a tandem arrangement, with the hunter in the rear one step/level higher than the hunter in the front, but I can't recall where I saw it for the life of me... I remember thinking "Gee, THAT'd be neat for taking my son out." Also, for some reason, I think it was a climbing stand? (I know, sounds rather far fetched). I've found regular two person ladder stands from all the regular names, but no tandem stands, and some are QUITE heavy . Thought from you folks? Thanks, -Mike

Mike I saw the same stand your talking about where did i see it like you i forget but... I read several magazines it may have been in one of the the ones i read are bowhunter, north am. whitetail, and north am. hunter. Maybe you can narrow it down to one of these magazines that you've read. I believe it was a hang on stand tho....portable probably the weight of two If i run across the ad I'll be sure to let you know.

Thanks!
After thinking about this more, I picked up a blind on sale at the new Dick's Sporting Goods in East York this evening. With the coupon I had, a blind on sale that was $129 orig, cost me ~$64.
